We stand with women and children who survive intimate partner and state-sponsored violence, especially Black, Indigenous and people of colour among recent African immigrants, with shelter, culturally sensitive counselling and a path to a stable, independent life.
With our partner in Kenya, we also run savings, enterprise and water programmes that tackle poverty and violence at their roots.
In many immigrant communities, cultural pressure keeps survivors quiet: fear of shame, of isolation, of losing immigration status or family. We call this the cultural conspiracy of silence. Our staff understand it, speak to it with respect, and help survivors find their voice and their safety.

Emotional, psychological and spiritual support from licensed counsellors who understand your culture, faith and language.
Help for children who survive violence to stay in school and settle into their new community.
A personal safety plan from the first contact, and practical help getting to shelter, appointments and services.
Connection to legal help, including VAWA and U-Visa referrals, and to housing, health and benefits services.
Licensed personal assistance services. Fees from clients who can pay help cover care for those who cannot.
Every contact starts with a confidential safety check. We protect your identity and location under VAWA and HIPAA rules.
Our Commons Model asks those who can pay to contribute, so survivors who cannot pay are served free.
Our team is trained in trauma-informed care and in the realities of immigrant life, faith and family.

Women who control their own money, water and time are safer. Our programs with Women of Faith Foundation in Kenya build that independence, with couples' dialogue and referral to gender-based violence services in every group.

Mentor, drive, help at events or in the office. All volunteers are screened and trained in confidentiality and cultural competence.
Shelters, legal aid, congregations and community groups can refer survivors or run services with us.

Noble Women Inc. is exempt from federal income tax as a charitable organization. Recognised by the IRS on 7 May 2020, effective from 6 January 2020.
We are a public charity, not a private foundation. Our support comes from many donors and from fees for our services, as the IRS requires for this class. We are not a 509(a)(3) supporting organization.
Gifts to Noble Women Inc. are deductible under section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code, as allowed by law. We send a written receipt for every gift of $250 or more.
Listed in IRS Publication 78, the list donors rely on, and in good standing, with annual filings made to the IRS.
